... and we're back.

Right. After much to-ing and fro-ing, and hitting mySql with a big stick, I’m back online (only Overman knows the real, rather embarassing, reason that the site was down for so long, and I’m hoping he’ll keep it to himself). Sorry about the downtime there – I know there were thousands of eager readers desperately spamming F5 in a pitiful attempt to bring the site back up. Fear not. We’re rolling.
I seem to have lost a couple of posts through database corruption, but – quite frankly – it’s not a major loss to the literary world. The last post i made before it went a merde seems to have permanently locked itself as private, as well. If you want to read it, you’ll have to register as a site user, and log in. I’m not going to tell you what it was, in a pathetic attempt to tempt you into registering.
At the moment, this site runs on Wordpress, on some cheap hosting that I bought for five pence and a bit of string a couple of years ago. I’ve now got much better dedicated hosting, so I’ll be moving IHS over there when I get a moment. I’ll probably also move from Wordpress to Typo, because I feel more comfortable with Ruby on Rails that I do with PHP.
Anyway, welcome back. Tune in again soon for more witticisms and insightful comments of the high standard that you’ve come to expect.
