Today I found a pork scratching in my bag of pork scratchings that was at least twice as big as any pork scratching I have ever before encountered. That was a worryingly important milestone in my week.

My book has just been published. Let the reserved and repressed white middle-class celebrations begin! Hurrah!

The title of this post will make no sense to anybody outside of the UK, by the way, so don’t even try.

Apologies to anyone reading this via the Machinifeed, who must by now be thoroughly sick of hearing that Machinima For Dummies has been published. Between us, Hugh and I have announced it on darn near every Machinima site on the net.

“You’ve got quite a nice body, under all the pork fat.” My new wife, the day after our wedding.

“I didn’t mean it like that. I just mean you look better when you’re lying down and everything flattens out.” Her again, trying to do some damage control a few minutes ago.
