Er … kill them? That ought to do it, surely?
Am I being too analytical? I sense that I’m not supposed to look at this too deeply, but simply accept it as something profound. If the guy with the deep voice said it over a trailer, that might help.

I’m becoming a little disillusioned with the state of the machinima scene at the moment. The ratio of narrativeless in-game footage and shit Red vs Blue clones to good story-centric film-making has become worryingly skewed. There are some things that give me hope, though. Gaming News With Lady Mainframe is one of them. It works, not because it’s a good idea (although it is), but because it’s magnificently well executed. This makes it watchable. The write is concise and snappy without being dull, and the editing is just first rate. This is a series that has the potential to become really big if it’s marketed properly. It looks like Binary Picture Show have finally realised this – they’ve halted production whilst they redesign the Lady Mainframe avatar and generally give the show a make-over. I’m looking forward to seeing the re-birth soon.
